The State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Henry Ayuk has admonished the people of Etung Local Government Area to continue to keep faith in Governor Bassey Otu with the reassurance that the present administration would not renege on its 'good governance' promise.
Dr. Ayuk, who gave the charge on Tuesday when he hosted All Progressives Congress (APC) ward executives in his Ikom residence, and the APC, Traditional Rulers as well as the Youths and Women group in his Bendeghe-Ekiem community, respectively, told the people to remain socketed to Prince Otu especially for his goodwill towards Etung LGA which culminated in two significant appointments (the Secretary to the State Government and Commissioner for Health).
The Health Commissioner also reminded them of Governor Otu's directive to resume work at the abandoned General Hospital at Effraya, a facility, he said, the Otu-led leadership is keen on completing.
The Commissioner felicitated with the traditional rulers of the community and thereafter hosted the APC and community members in his private residence at Njim Emeh, Bendeghe Ekim, where modest donations were made for the New Year celebration.
