The Chairman of the Cross River State Diaspora Commission (CRIDCOM), Prince Otu Okor, led a delegation of commissioners on an interagency visit to the Honorable Commissioner for Science and Technology in Calabar. The purpose of the visit was to explore potential areas of collaboration and investment in Science and Technology between the two agencies.
During the meeting, the Honorable Commissioner highlighted several areas of investment, including the development of an ICT Hub, establishment of a Technical Institute, and production and fabrication of mechanics for Palm Oil production. These initiatives aim to drive innovation, create jobs, and stimulate economic growth in the state.
The CRIDCOM team expressed enthusiasm for the opportunities presented and pledged to work closely with the Ministry of Science and Technology to identify and pursue mutually beneficial projects. The visit underscores the commitment of both agencies to fostering synergy and driving development in Cross River State.

Further discussions will be held to finalize plans and implement the proposed projects, with the ultimate goal of promoting economic growth and improving the lives of the people of Cross River State.
