C'River Surveyor General's Office Gets Facelift

The Cross River State Acting Surveyor General, Surveyor Patrick Bassey, has commenced renovation on his office Complex and its environs as part of his blueprint to ensure a conducive working atmosphere for Staff and in preparation of the forthcoming Carnival Calabar and Christmas Festival.

Speaking during an inspection of the office premises in Calabar, recently, Bassey stated that his leadership will take cues from Governor Otu's 'People First' and 'Season of Sweetness' mantras, by ensuring Staff welfare is accorded priority attention. This, he said, will in turn create a more diverse individual capacity development, enhance service delivery, and boost productivity as well as the State's economy and Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).

The Acting Surveyor-General said the perimeter fencing, security post as well as the entire building would be fixed and painted, among other internal renovations.

He hinted that his office will also collaborate with relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies in providing and coordinating timely, reliable and accurate geospatial data for their effective decision-making.

As of press time, painting works had already commenced in some parts of the Complex.
