The Cross River State Government has called on eligible Cross Riverarians to take advantage of the ongoing recruitment exercise into the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), urging qualified youths across the state to apply for available positions and improve their chances of securing federal employment.
The Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Mr. Patrick Egbede, made the appeal in a statement issued on Saturday following the commencement of the nationwide recruitment exercise by the Commission.
“The recruitment exercise into the various strata of the Federal Road Safety Commission has commenced,” Egbede said. “The advertorial recently published by the Commission indicates that various positions have been offered to prospective applicants.”
He urged eligible Cross Riverians not to allow the opportunity pass them by, emphasizing that the state government remains committed to facilitating access to employment opportunities for its citizens.
“I hereby call on eligible Cross Riverians to take advantage of the opportunity to apply for the posts of their choice and deliver a copy of the printouts to the Ministry’s Desk Office at the Ministry’s Headquarters, Establishments Building Complex, New Secretariat, Murtala Mohammed Highway, Calabar,” the commissioner stated.
Egbede explained that the submission of application printouts to the ministry would aid coordination and enable the government to monitor the participation of Cross River applicants in the federal recruitment exercise.
He encouraged interested applicants to complete their applications promptly and ensure they meet all stipulated requirements, expressing confidence that many qualified Cross Riverians would emerge successful.
