The attention of the Head of Service of Cross River State has been drawn to an online publication titled 'CRS Civil Service Commission Recruitment 2024/2025' requesting interested members of the public to obtain application forms for a purported recruitment.
Arising from this and for the avoidance of doubt, the Cross River State Government wishes to dissociate itself from this publication as it did not emanate from the Cross River State Civil Service Commission or the Head of Service.
Accordingly, the general public is hereby enjoined to disregard this publication as it is fake. There is no ongoing recruitment in the Civil Service Commission as variously purported, especially on OPERA NEWS.
It is, therefore, imperative to alert unsuspecting job-seeking Cross Riverians not to be misled and to avoid falling into the deadly trap of these fraudulent characters.
The Cross River State Government is presently not recruiting and has not engaged any agency to act on its behalf.
Cross Riverians and the general public are advised to take note and disregard the fake “Official Application Form Portal.”
Furthermore, the various security agencies in the State have been alerted to this obnoxious and unwholesome attempt to deceive and dupe innocent job seekers. We are confident that those behind the dubious scheme will be apprehended soon.
