Grace Missionary School Students Obudu Pays Courtesy Visit to Obudu LGA Chairman.

In a heartwarming display of appreciation and recognition, students from Grace Missionary Secondary School, Obudu, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Obudu Local Government Area, Hon. (Amb) Peter Akonfe Undiandeye KSM, to commend him for his consistent support for students and children in the LGA.

The students, accompanied by a staff member of the school, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Chairman in his office on Thursday, for what they described as a remarkable transformation in the way children’s events are organized and celebrated under his administration.

“Since the inception of our school, we have never participated in a Children’s Day celebration or match past and returned with anything more than certificates of participation. You have changed the narrative. For the first time, we left with gifts and felt truly seen and valued,” one of the student representatives said.

The group presented symbolic gifts to the Chairman in appreciation of the recognition they received for emerging second during the last Children’s Day match past competition. Referring to their gesture, the students humorously likened their gifts to those presented by the three wise men, signifying their deep appreciation and respect.

In his remarks, Hon. Undiandeye warmly thanked the students and their school for the thoughtful visit. He commended their academic discipline and performance, encouraging them to remain focused on their studies and continue striving for excellence.

“Your visit today encourages me to do even more for our young ones. Education remains a top priority for this administration, and seeing your joy fuels our determination to keep supporting students across Obudu,” the Chairman noted.

This is a renewed hope for more student-focused programs in Obudu LGA.
