The Executive Chairman of the Cross River State Internal Revenue Service (CRIRS), Prince Edwin Okon, Ph.D., has showcased the state’s vast investment opportunities, urging investors to explore its rich economic potential for sustainable growth and returns.
Prince Okon made the call at the just-concluded Abuja Business & Investment Expo (ABIE) 3.0, held under the theme, “Building Nigeria’s Capital: Investment as a Catalyst for Economic Growth.”
The Expo brought together investors, policymakers, global investment stakeholders and business leaders to explore opportunities capable of driving economic development and shaping the future of Africa’s largest economy.
At the forum, Prince Okon highlighted Cross River’s comparative advantages in tourism, agriculture and mining, positioning the state as a strategic investment destination with considerable opportunities across the sectors.
He noted that Cross River’s rich tourism assets, vast agricultural resources and abundant mineral deposits provide a strong foundation for sustainable investment, job creation, revenue generation and broad-based economic growth.
The CRIRS Chairman therefore encouraged investors to look beyond conventional investment destinations and take advantage of the opportunities available in Cross River State, describing the state as a promising frontier for investors seeking new and viable opportunities.
