The First Lady of Nigeria, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, hosted beneficiaries of the Renewed Hope Initiative National Scholarship Programme (RHI-NASP) Tuesday, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Now in its third tranche, the scholarship scheme reaffirms the Renewed Hope Initiative’s commitment to advancing education and empowering young Nigerians to become future leaders.
Representing Cross River State at the event were the Wife of the Governor,Bishop Dr. Mrs. Eyoawan Bassey Otu, and the State Commissioner for Education, Senator Professor Stephen Odey.
Miss Miriam Oron Oyo-Ita was recognized as the State’s beneficiary of the programme, a distinction made possible through the support and nomination of the Governor’s wife.
This initiative, stakeholders assert, highlights Bishop Otu’s dedication to educational development and her commitment to ensuring that Cross River State continues to benefit from national opportunities aimed at uplifting young people.
