The Chairman of the Cross River State Cocoa Allocation Committee, Hon. Cosmas Ebori Nku, has congratulated the Wife of the Governor, Bishop Eyoawan Bassey Otu, on the occasion of her 62nd birthday, describing her as a remarkable woman whose life is devoted to service, compassion, and humanity.
In a goodwill message, Nku praised the First Lady’s outstanding humanitarian drive, particularly through her pet project, Humanity Without Borders, which he said has continued to make significant impact in the lives of vulnerable and underserved persons across Cross River State.
He noted that the initiative has provided relief, hope, and support to many families through targeted interventions in health, welfare, and empowerment, adding that her consistent commitment to humanitarian service has earned her widespread admiration.
According to him, Bishop Otu’s life reflects deep empathy and a strong dedication to improving the wellbeing of others, qualities he said have strengthened social support systems in the state and complemented ongoing government efforts.
Nku further commended her for her selfless leadership and unwavering focus on uplifting the less privileged, stressing that her humanitarian footprint continues to inspire many within and outside the state.
He prayed for God’s continued blessings upon her life, wishing her good health, wisdom, and longevity as she continues her service to God and humanity.
The Cocoa Allocation Committee Chairman expressed confidence that the First Lady would sustain and expand her humanitarian initiatives in the years ahead, further deepening her impact across communities.
