The Executive Chairman of Obudu Local Government Area, Hon. (Amb.) Peter Akonfe Undiandeye, Ph.D, KSM, has extended warm Christmas greetings to the good people of Obudu, urging them to embrace the season with love, peace, and unity.
In his Christmas message, the Chairman described the birth of Jesus Christ as a symbol of hope, renewal, and divine love, calling on residents to reflect on the values of sacrifice, compassion, and selfless service which the season represents. He prayed that the joy of Christmas would bring peace to homes, strengthen family bonds, and foster harmony across communities in Obudu Local Government Area.
Hon. Undiandeye also reassured the people of his administration’s commitment to people-oriented governance, sustainable development, and improved welfare for all residents. He encouraged citizens to remain supportive, law-abiding, and united as the council continues to work in line with the vision of the Cross River State Government to deliver meaningful dividends of democracy at the grassroots.
The Council boss concluded by wishing all residents a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year, praying that the coming year brings renewed hope, progress, and abundant blessings to every household in Obudu Local Government Area.
