The Executive Chairman of Obudu Local Government Council, Hon. (Amb.) Peter Akonfe Undiandeye, KSM, has congratulated Obudu Hilltop FC following their hard-fought 1–0 victory over Ranch Pillars of Obanliku in the ongoing Governor Bassey Otu Cup.
The exciting encounter, held on Monday at the U.J. Esuene Stadium in Calabar, saw Hilltop FC display resilience, teamwork, and tactical discipline to secure the win against their neighbours and sister-local government area
In a statement, the council’s helmsman praised the team’s courage, commitment, and determination, noting that their performance reflects the true spirit of Obudu. He commended the players, coaching crew, and supporters for their unity of purpose and urged the team to remain focused as the tournament progresses.
He further charged the players to sustain the momentum, maintain discipline, and continue representing Obudu with pride, assuring them of the Council’s continuous support.
Hon. Undiandeye expressed confidence that Hilltop FC has what it takes to advance further in the competition and bring glory home to Obudu.
