Obudu Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. (Amb) Peter Akonfe Undiandeye, yesterday, joined the State Governor, Senator Prince Bassey Otu, ably represented by the Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem, State Chairman of the APC, Alphonsus Eba, Esq, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, Members of the State House of Assembly, State Exco members, Party stakeholders as well as party faithful, for the official reception of the member representating Obanliku/Bekwarra/Obudu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Peter Akpanke, into the All Progressives Congress. The carnival-like defection, which held at the Obudu Council Field, was also graced by government functionaries from Federal, State and Local levels and it's featured the presentation of party constitution, flag and insignia of the party, the broom to the lead defector on behalf of his numerous supporters/followers across the three local government areas who joined him in the broom revolution.
