The Obudu Local Government Council has unveiled Phase II of the Pita Pars Free JAMB UTME Form 2026 initiative, reaffirming its commitment to expanding access to tertiary education for indigent and deserving youths across the local government area.

This second phase marks a significant expansion of the programme. In its first phase last year, 150 candidates benefited from the initiative, while the Executive Chairman has graciously increased the number to 200 candidates for the 2026 exercise, drawn from the 10 political wards of Obudu LGA, irrespective of party affiliation. Special consideration will continue to be given to indigent candidates, in line with the council’s resolve to promote inclusive human capital development.

Applicants are required to use their National Identification Number (NIN) to generate a JAMB profile code and must have been born on or before 31st August 2010 to meet the age requirement. Prospective beneficiaries are to forward their profile code, full name, and council ward to the designated contact lines 08052122220 or 08035337231, 07089097652 and 07087793890, on or before 20th February 2026. All selected candidates must also meet the required JAMB pass grades, as stipulated by the examination body.

The initiative is championed by the Executive Chairman of Obudu Local Government Area, Hon. Dr. (Amb) Peter Akonfe Undiandeye, KSM, who reiterated the council’s unwavering resolve to invest in education as a critical pillar for sustainable development and youth empowerment in Obudu.
