The Executive Chairman of Obudu Local Government Council, Hon. Ntufam, Dr. Peter Akonfe Undiandeye, KSM, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt best wishes to the good people of Obudu as they usher in a new month, which coincides with the sacred season of Holy Week and Easter.
In his goodwill message, the Chairman described the period as a time for deep reflection, spiritual renewal, and renewed hope. He urged residents to embrace the enduring values of love, sacrifice, and unity, as exemplified by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He noted that the new month offers yet another opportunity for growth, peace, and collective progress within the Local Government Area.
Dr. Undiandeye prayed that the blessings of the Easter season bring renewed strength, joy, and divine favor to every household in Obudu. He further expressed optimism that the spirit of Easter would inspire greater harmony, resilience, and a shared commitment toward the development of the community.
“May this new month usher in abundant blessings, prosperity, and divine protection for our people. As we celebrate the triumph of life over death, may hope be rekindled in our hearts, and may our land continue to experience peace and progress,” he stated.
The Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to delivering people-oriented governance and called on all citizens to remain supportive, law-abiding, and united in the pursuit of a better Obudu.
