The Governor of Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Otu, has warmly congratulated his deputy, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey as he clocks the golden age of 50 today, Sunday, June 2, 2024.
In his congratulatory message, Governor Otu described Odey as a reliable ally whose indefatigable support base is yielding exploits for the present administration and Cross River State.
“You are reputed for hard work and value addition. One year of working with me as Deputy Governor has revealed even more beautiful things about you as a person, politician and public servant.”

Rt. Hon. Peter Odey was born June 2, 1974. He served in the state Assembly for eight years, where he eventually became the House Leader in the 9th Assembly of the Cross River State Legislature.
