Sandy Onor Congratulates Otu, Odey, Calls on Cross Riverians To Support Present Administration

The Cross River state People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Prof Sandy Onor, has congratulated Sen. Bassey Otu and Rt Hon Peter Odey, on their victory the Supreme Court as the validly elected governor and deputy governor of Cross River State, respectively.

Onor, in a statement signed by him and dated January 13, 2024, called on all and saundry for "support and prayers that they would need to make Cross River the dream homeland that we would all cherish.

The statement read in part, "I congratulate Sen. Bassey Otu and the Peter Odey for the successful journey from the primaries through main election and ending at the Supreme Court, which typifies the entire gamut of any election style."

He thanked the Caterpillar Movement, the leadership of PDP led by Venatius Ikem, Esq, the Catholic, the Protestant aisle, youths, elders, men, women, party faithfuls across the three senational zones and even across parties as well as all those who shared in the genuine yearning and aspirations for the development of the state for their support.
