The Cross River State Forum of Special Advisers has showered glowing tributes on its Chairman and Special Adviser to the Governor on General Duties, Barr. Ekpenyong Akiba, as he marked his birthday, describing him as a dependable pillar and critical force in the administration of Governor Bassey Otu.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Secretary of the Forum and Special Adviser to the Governor on Asset Management and Recovery, Barr. Gilbert Agbor, the Forum extolled Akiba’s exceptional leadership qualities and unwavering loyalty to the present administration.
The Forum noted that Barr. Akiba has remained an incredible and dependable support base to Governor Otu, playing a strategic role in ensuring that government policies and directives are effectively implemented across relevant offices.
Describing him as “a critical mass in the present administration,” the Special Advisers stated that Akiba works round the clock to ensure that things are done right and successfully, adding that his commitment to excellence has strengthened coordination within government.
According to the statement, the Chairman’s style of leadership within the Forum has fostered unity, shared purpose, and effective collaboration among Special Advisers, thereby enhancing service delivery to the people of Cross River State.
The Forum further characterized Akiba as a go-getter and perfectionist whose meticulous attention to detail and strong work ethic have earned him respect within the corridors of power.
