CRIDCOM Strengthens Ties with State Budget Office

The Chairman of the Cross River State Diaspora Commission (CRIDCOM), Prince Otu Okor, led a team on a courtesy visit to the Special Adviser to the Governor on Budget, Mr. Otu Otu Ita, in his office in Calabar.

During the visit, Mr. Ita emphasized the importance of effective planning and budgeting in enhancing efficiency in the discharge of duties. He assured the CRIDCOM team of his Office's commitment to collaboration in furtherance of the government's objectives.

According to Mr. Ita, "Effective planning and budgeting are crucial to achieving our mandates and moving the State forward." He welcomed the CRIDCOM team and expressed his willingness to engage in meaningful discussions aimed at finding solutions to issues bordering on budgeting.

Earlier, Prince Otu Okor lauded Mr. Ita for his commitment to duty and expressed his desire to synergize and identify possible areas of collaboration between the two agencies.

The visit was described as very insightful and rewarding, with both parties strengthening developmental ties. The SA Budget assured CRIDCOM of his office's openness to collaboration, stating that his doors are always open for meaningful discussions.

The CRIDCOM team left the meeting optimistic about the potential benefits of the partnership for the State's economic growth and development.
