Otu Hails Akak’s Emergence as APC Deputy National Treasurer at National Convention

Governor Bassey Otu has congratulated Engr. Ben Akak on his emergence as Deputy National Treasurer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing it as a proud moment for Cross River State.

Akak was elected into the position at the just concluded APC National Convention held in Abuja, where a new National Working Committee (NWC) was constituted to steer the affairs of the ruling party.

In a congratulatory message shared on his official Facebook account, Governor Otu commended Akak’s loyalty and dedication, noting that his emergence is a reward for years of steadfast commitment to the party.

“Big congratulations to Engr. Ben Akak on his emergence as the Deputy National Treasurer of our great party, APC. This is a proud moment for Cross River State. Your hard work, loyalty, and dedication have truly paid off,” the governor stated.

He expressed confidence in Akak’s ability to deliver in his new role, adding that his performance would bring honour to both the party and the state.

“I am confident you will do a great job and make both our party and our state proud. Wishing you success in this new role,” Otu added.

Akak’s emergence forms part of the newly constituted NWC led by National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, alongside other key officials drawn from across the country.
