Wife of the Governor of Cross River State celebrate birthday with Street Children in Calabar.

It was a momentous occasion organized by Nugi Technologies in collaboration with the Uniters Hub Foundation, as they organized a great gathering of Calabar Street children, over 300 of them, to celebrate the Wife of the Governor of Cross River State, Rev. Eyoanwan Otu, on her 60th Jubilee Birthday celebration, which was held at the Women Development Center, Parliamentary Extension, Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria.

It was a momentous occasion organized by Nugi Technologies in collaboration with the Uniters Hub Foundation,as they organized a great gathering of Calabar street children, over 300 of them, to celebrate the wife of the governor of Cross River State, Rev. Eyoanwan Otu, on her 60th jubilee birthday celebration, which was held at the Women Development Center, Parliamentary Extension, Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria.

The Grand Arrival of Their Excellencies; Sen. Ntufam Prince & Rev. Mrs Eyoanwan Bassey Otu at the event brought happiness and gladness to the Street Children.

Through the Prestigious office of Her Distinguished Excellency, Rev. Mrs. Eyoanwan Bassey Otu in Partnership with NUGI TECHNOLOGIES, coordinated by the Uniters Hub Foundation, organised this tremendous event to celebrate the Natal Anniversary of Her Excellency as she marks her 60th Birthday Jubilee.

More than 300 Street kids in Calabar were at the venue of the Birthday Celebration, and they were all given free items like; Clothes, Shoes etc.

Indeed all the Street Kids present experienced Transformation via their new dresses, shoes and hair cut and opportunities to have free scholarship, sport training of any skills and cash prizes.

Her Excellency declared it to be a day of Joy for all Street kids in Calabar, as she appreciate God for all his marvelous works in her life. This vision became a reality through the Collaborations of the aforementioned Organizations.

Special Thanks to the General Manager of Zenith Bank, Cross River State; Mrs Ekanem Asuquo, and all Dignitaries that were present to grace the event with their presence.

The Director General Primary Health Care Development Agency Dr. Mrs. Vivian Mesembe Otu and team were present as they were involved in the free medical Outreach to the Street kids and the distributions of quality drugs to the sick ones.

NUGI TECHNOLOGIES also promised to Sponsor 6 Street kids through out their studies in one of the best Secondary School in Calabar, Cross River State.

The Street Kids came out to perform in their respective talents such as; Sack race, Egg race, dancing, singing, football, etc.

Her Excellency, gave out Cash prizes and Gifts to Winners of different talents showcased by the Street Children at the Street Party. Her Excellency in her speech admonished the Street Children in Calabar “To live a Godly life and stay away from unpleasant ways that will bring crisis in Cross River State”.

On Wednesday 10th April is the date of the Birthday Celebration of Her Excellency, but she decided to organize this heartfelt occasion to celebrate and support the Street Children in Calabar, Cross River State.
