I wish to categorically state that my support for the second-term ambition of His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, Governor of Cross River State, remains firm, strengthened and unshaken by any circumstance.
For the avoidance of doubt, I was not part of any meeting in Abuja with the leadership of an organisation known as Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria. I do not know the location of the organisation’s office in Abuja, nor have I ever met any member of its leadership. Any publication associating me with such a meeting is entirely false, misleading and should be disregarded.
As one of the coordinators of the IBOE ALLIANCE in Cross River Central Senatorial District, I have significant responsibilities for grassroots mobilisation and the consolidation of support for Governor Otu’s second-term ambition. My commitment to this responsibility remains unwavering.
Furthermore, as National President of Hope for New Nigeria Global Initiatives, I lead a support platform committed to the re-election of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Governor Prince Bassey Edet Otu in 2027. These commitments are well established and leave no room for ambiguity about my political position.
I find it deeply unfortunate that a press release bearing my name has been circulated in connection with a meeting I neither attended nor knew about. This is a deliberate misrepresentation of my position, capable of creating unnecessary confusion and casting unwarranted doubts on my political loyalties. Such conduct is inconsistent with responsible political engagement and the standards of integrity expected in public discourse.
Let me state unequivocally that my political commitments remain intact. I am resolute in my determination to deliver my ward in support of President Tinubu and Governor Otu in the 2027 elections. I will continue to strengthen grassroots mobilisation through the IBOE ALLIANCE and Hope for New Nigeria Global Initiatives to advance the political objectives we have openly embraced.
Those seeking to undermine my political standing through falsehood and misrepresentation should understand that I will neither be intimidated nor distracted from my convictions and responsibilities. My political engagements will continue to be guided by truth, integrity, loyalty and a firm commitment to the success of the causes I support.
I also commit this matter to the Almighty God, the righteous Judge, trusting in His divine justice to expose falsehood and vindicate the truth. Those responsible for this misrepresentation should have the courage to acknowledge their actions and correct the record rather than allow false narratives to persist.
For emphasis, my support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Prince Bassey Edet Otu, particularly their respective second-term ambitions in 2027, is strengthened, not shaken. No amount of political mischief, propaganda or calculated misrepresentation will alter my position or diminish my commitment to their success.
My loyalty is clear, my convictions are firm, and my commitment to grassroots mobilisation remains unwavering.
