The Cross River State Head of Service Dr. Innocent Eteng has warned civil/public servants as well as the general public to be conscious of members of swindlers who are now extorting unconscious members of the public with the pretext of offering them Jobs in the Cross River State Civil Service or promotions.
The head of service who stated this in a public notice said the unscrupulous elements who swindle unconscious civil servants and the general public are not directed by the state government, neither do the have any connection with the state civil service.
He warned that the state government disassociates itself from such individuals or group stating that such moves does not emanate from his office.
The statement pointed out that the office of the head of service in conjunction with the service commissions and boards shall not hesitate to deal decisively with any persons who tries to test the governments might by indulging in this act while warning perpetuators that they shall face the full wrath of the law.
