Eid al-Adha: OBUDU CHAIRMAN FELICITATES WITH MUSLIMS, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO INCLUSIVE GOVERNANCE

The Executive Chairman of Obudu Local Government Area, Hon. Dr. Peter Akonfe Undiandeye, KSM, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim faithful in Obudu Local Government Area and beyond on the joyous occasion of the Eid al-Adha celebration.

In his goodwill message released on Tuesday, the Chairman described Eid as a sacred period of thanksgiving, sacrifice, love, peace, and devotion to Almighty Allah, urging Muslims to continue to uphold the virtues of unity, tolerance, compassion, and peaceful coexistence which the season represents.

Hon. Undiandeye commended the Muslim community in Obudu for their contributions towards peace, harmony, and development in the Local Government Area, noting that their commitment to peaceful living has continued to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among the people.

The Chairman further encouraged residents of Obudu to use the festive period to pray for sustained peace, progress, and prosperity in the Local Government Area, Cross River State, and Nigeria at large.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, fairness, and the welfare of all citizens irrespective of religious or ethnic backgrounds.

“On behalf of the Government and good people of Obudu Local Government Area, I heartily wish all our Muslim brothers and sisters a joyful and blessed Eid al-Adha celebration. May Allah accept your prayers and sacrifices, and grant peace, happiness, and abundant blessings to every home,” the Chairman stated.
