As the month of July dawns, the Executive Chairman of Obudu Local Government Area, Hon. Dr. Peter Akonfe Undiandeye, KSM, extends his warmest felicitations and heartfelt best wishes to the resilient, industrious, and peace-loving people of Obudu.
The Chairman expresses profound gratitude to Almighty God for the privilege of witnessing a new month and for His unfailing grace and mercies that have sustained the Local Government through the first half of the year. He encourages the people to embrace July with renewed hope, unwavering faith, and a steadfast commitment to the collective ideals of peace, unity, hard work, and sustainable community development.
According to Dr. Undiandeye, every new month represents a fresh providential opportunity to consolidate past gains, rekindle aspirations, and pursue greater accomplishments. He therefore urges residents across the ten wards of Obudu to remain law-abiding, supportive of government initiatives, and united in the shared responsibility of building a more prosperous, secure, and progressive Local Government Area.
Reaffirming the resolve of his administration, the Chairman assured the people that the Council remains unequivocally committed to delivering purposeful, transparent, inclusive, and people-oriented governance. He emphasized that the administration will continue to prioritize infrastructural renewal, youth and women empowerment, improved public service delivery, enhanced security collaboration, economic advancement, and policies designed to improve the overall welfare and quality of life of every citizen.
"Our administration derives its strength from the confidence, cooperation, and unwavering support of our people. We remain resolute in our commitment to serving with integrity, accountability, compassion, and excellence. Every decision we make is guided by the desire to create lasting value for our people and leave behind a legacy of sustainable development. Together, with God's guidance, we shall continue to advance Obudu on the path of enduring progress, shared prosperity, and greater opportunities for all," the Chairman stated.
As the second half of the year commences, Hon. Dr. Peter Akonfe Undiandeye prays that the month of July will usher in divine favour, abundant grace, sound health, enduring peace, remarkable breakthroughs, unprecedented opportunities, and outstanding accomplishments for every family, institution, business, and resident of Obudu Local Government Area.
He further calls on the people to remain optimistic and confident that brighter days lie ahead, assuring them that the Council will continue to work tirelessly to justify the trust reposed in it and to deliver the dividends of good governance to every community.
Happy New Month to the good people of Obudu Local Government Area. Together, we shall continue to build a stronger, greater, more united, and more prosperous Obudu.
