The Executive Chairman of Obudu Local Government Council, Hon. Dr. Peter Akonfe Undiandeye, KSM, has felicitated with workers across Obudu and beyond on the occasion of the 2026 Workers’ Day celebration, describing them as the driving force behind societal growth and development.
In a goodwill message to commemorate the May 1st celebration, the Chairman praised the resilience, dedication, and invaluable contributions of workers in different sectors, noting that their daily efforts remain the backbone of progress in the local government and the nation at large.
Hon. Undiandeye gave special commendation to the staff of Obudu Local Government Council for their loyalty, diligence, and support in ensuring the smooth running of government activities. He stated that their sacrifices and steadfastness have greatly contributed to the success of his administration.
The Chairman further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to workers’ welfare, promising to continue creating a conducive working environment while encouraging excellence in service delivery. He urged workers to remain dedicated, disciplined, and hopeful, assuring them that their labour would never be in vain.
