The Cross River State Commissioner for Aviation, Captain Eno Utum Inah (Rtd), has said that a win for the state's aviation sector is a win for the entire state, noting that the sector exists to serve the best interest of the people.

Captain Eno made this assertion on Tuesday in his office when a political support group, Believers for Good Governance, paid him a courtesy visit to outline their mandate and present a handbook documenting their activities to the Commissioner.

Captain Eno observed that the administration of Senator Bassey Otu has performed excellently in the areas of health, economy, infrastructure, agriculture, education and more, citing the Governor's commitment to the completion of the Obudu International Passengers and Cargo Airport as a major plus for the state. The project, he noted, was inherited by the present administration at 30 per cent completion but has now reached 80 per cent in less than three years of the Governor's tenure.

The Aviation helmsman added that Cross River State's transition to the leadership of Senator Bassey Otu has been a blessing, noting that travellers can now fly in and out of the state seamlessly aboard the state-owned aircraft, without flight cancellations or delays.

Earlier, the Director-General of Believers for Good Governance, Pastor Edet Essien, said the support group was born out of the people's yearning for a people-centred government, stressing that the people are the essence of governance. He noted that the present administration in the state, headed by "Sweet Prince," has achieved a great deal and therefore deserves commendation, adding that the group had carried out its own findings and produced a handbook documenting the visible projects executed by the Governor across the state.

He observed that, given these achievements, the group's support is fully behind the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Governor Bassey Otu, ahead of the 2027 general election.

A highlight of the visit was the presentation of the group's handbook documenting major projects carried out by the State Governor, titled *"Believers for Good Governance: People's First Agenda."*

Present at the event were the Director of Administration, Ministry of Aviation, Mr Atem Thomas Nche; the Director of Civil Engineering, Mr Egbe A. Enang; and an eight-man team from the support group.
